4/24/2009 - Intercooler mounted and piping done
I went to L&M engines to take a look at the intercooler and custom piping. Still waiting on a few odds and ends and I have to cut the rebar so the intercooler can fit behind it. Wed ended up going with the Procharger race bypass (open design) to vent the unused boost to the atmosphere.

3/29/2009 - Novi mounted
Trying to install a used supercharger on a mutt of an engine is a more difficult than I thought. My engine is a 1999 GT block & heads with a 2002 timing cover, the supercharger brackets were also ment for a 2001+ so some of the bolts and bolt holes weren't exactly the right size, some parts seemed to be missing as well. After a lot trial and error Mike @ L&M Engines helped me out by making custom spacers and getting the little odds and ends figured out.

3/19/2009 - New intake and started SC install
I had a horrible coolant leak ever since I dropped in the new engine, I did a pressure test to find out it was leaking from the thermo housing, when I took it a part I saw my intake manifold finally cracked and wasn't sealing properly. I was waiting for it to happen after 98k miles on it it was destined to crack eventually. Luckily I found someone selling one locally with an aluminum cross over for sale, I was able to grab it and throw on.

I also started the SC install

2/15/2009 - Engine finally started
Finally I was able to finish up all the little odds and ends and get the engine started. Jace and Mike came over again to save the day and help me get it running, we had a little trouble with a bad connection on one of the battery terminals but we finally got it. I quickly wired up an oil pressure gauge for extra piece of mind, I will install it correctly later.

Check out the hardware I used to keep the factory oil gauge in the cluster working.
